I would like to start off by encouraging all members to post their experiences and stories on this server! This server hasn't been consistently active since 2018, and it's come to my attention that the few remaining members are starting to forget their time spent on here. This has prompted me to start this thread so we can keep our memories of a place that was once so close to us!
2012I didn't join the server until 2013, but what I can tell you about this year is that it was the year TFoC was created by MikeKamb, or as others may know him, Craft-O-Rama. At the time, the Craft community made its way on Minecraft Classic, an older, free version of Minecraft that used to be accessible from the Minecraft front webpage. The early host included Badrandsteve, Jimmybob21, and the all great HeyMan7_ . From what I know, the original classic TFoC server was made for Aidee123 as a gift from Mike. 2013When I first joined I remember a lot of infighting from the higher management. This mostly included elitegrbe7, marc2145, marcus_rfc, jack2012_360, jimmybob21, and sniperrifle. As a new member at the time, I didn't pay much attention to this. I was drawn to the server since it had players (a lot of those servers were starting to die off at that time), and for some reason, the motto it had, Wasting Your Time Since Before Yesterday. I quickly made friends. My best friends at the time were EliteXxGamer, zach2246, oc127, PortlandTimber27.295 and muzzy2011. I moved up the ranks fast, first with building a house, a town, and a hotel on the manager world. I remember my hotel the most since I used to give out the rooms to other players for them to customize. Eventually, I worked my way up and met my threshold of playtime (25hrs back then) and azeez2002 (one of the operators/trainers) promoted me to Moderator/Dragon. I worked up the ranks to eventually reaching Mentor/Admin. One of the first big tasks I had to deal with as staff was the speedcool.301 situation. He was a mod/dragon at the time with a bad reputation. I believe he was 9 at the time. He was extremely abusive with kicking, banning, and muting players for little to no reason. I eventually surpassed him on the staff ladder and held a trial for him a few weeks later. I remember in the basement of that hotel I built on the manager world, I built a courtroom in which I and several players held a trial for him (with him present). He was found guilty, and I as an operator/trainer demoted him and banned him. I remember the next day Jimmy telling me I should've contacted the higher ups before doing that, but he said I made the right choice. As time went on, as you all know, I started some controversy. On classic, it wasn't as serious until Minecraft premium, but I still had one person after me. Back then the rules were pretty loose until Mike was threatening to shut down the server. As many of you know, once we had the family friendly rules put in place, I pretty much ignored them. This lead me to get banned 11 times if I remember right, on both classic and premium. The bans on classic all came from Jimmy, but I had a few badr saves. I got banned and permanently demoted from staff on premium around mid-2014. I was banned for disrespect, spawning withers, and making my way up to three warnings. With all of that aside, my friend and I had a pretty good time on the server building maps, staffing, and tnt wars. I remember copying the main map and blowing it up. Elitegrbe and marc were so mad because they thought it was the actual main world and I had blown it up. I explained to them that it was a copy and I remember elite telling me that him, marc, and jack were basically gods on this server and I had to listen to whatever they said. Then exactly 3 days later, elitegrbe must have forgiven me because he promoted me to admin/mentor. As time went on I grew closer to my friends, mostly zach and elitexxgamer. I remember zach's favorite song was We can't stop by Miley Cyrus, which was new at the time. The server had a couple resets in which everyone's player info was lost so we put back our hours on the server which most people made up. As time went on the server started to die out until about November where it was dead for good. However, we were warned about this and nobody thought anything about it at the time. Some guy whose name was something like PastorNorman, came on and told us Mojang was planning to kill classic and we had to sign this digital petition to try and stop it. Nobody really believed him but some of us signed the petition anyways. At the time classic was doing so well with mega servers like Au70 and Team9000 pulling over 50+ players daily. Eventually as we all know now, the time did come and classic was killed off unofficially in 2014. It was unplayable since the Java browser plugin was outdated and it didn't allow classic to be played. It was then officially removed in 2015. At the end of 2013, they tried to move the servers to Classicube, but they never got popular. The remaining people went to the TFoC premium server. When I first joined, Bumble promoted me to Moderator but I had to pretty much teach myself the commands. When I first joined premium, I heard of a lot of people playing, but the only person I knew was Bumble, since most of the player base was from COR or AC. I eventually made friends with Camokiller, MinecraftMover, and GatorPimp by joining their faction Valkyrie, which was in a war with Dylan's faction at the time.

2014
2014 was a very different year for me on TFoC than 2013. I met a bunch of new people, and most of the ones who are still around come from this group. I made friends with Camo at the time and whatever faction he made I followed him. I started off in Valkyrie where we beat Dylanactor1 in the faction war. I remember we raided the chest from his base when we won. Back then, /fly was accessible to everybody and the staff were allowed to build in creative. Mike was hosting it at the time, and I remember it being very laggy. This was the year that Jimmybob raged and deleted, or moved the files depending who you asked, which got him banned for awhile. If I remember right, this was the year that Badr also lost his access to TFoC and threatened to DDOS the server getting him banned as well. This was the year I was demoted from Mod, to a new Helper rank. I eventually got demoted from staff altogether for many years over a lot of controversy.
This was the year TFoC also had a spawn competition. I remember Keystirras found this castle spawn online and made a super awesome video of it, but they wanted to eventually build a new spawn. At first, I believe it was a Travis something that was tasked with building the new spawn for 1.8, but the owners at the time decided to hold a competition and replace the current 1.7 spawn. Much of the server participated, and I remember gman101360 and coming together to combine our submissions into one spawn winning the competition. I remember Chilly was the tie breaker between Travis's spawn and Ours. This caused that Travis guy to leave forever. I remember MrDenny would've won but he didn't finish his. This can still be seen with /warp tfoc2014.
This seemed to be the year of drama and resets as the server got reset 3 times and all the admins caused constant drama. I remember we probably had near 20 admins at this point who all were fighting with each other. I remember Mike was being driven off the server at around this time. Badr posted a bunch of hentai links in the chat which caused Mike to take the server down originally for two weeks, but we talked him down to a couple of days. Eventually Mike seemed to take a backseat role and let Keys and Bumble run the server. After awhile, later in the year, the server seemed to die down and it was mostly just Me, Jack, Lila, Marc, and Gman who were playing. I remember at about this time Heyman, Jack, and Marc decided to come back and bring a little more life into the server. This was also when JR came back and made Camo quit.
We also had some had some controversy with the regular members. I remember there was this faction named 420swag, that caused lots of problems. Back in those days, drugs were still a controversial subject. The members of this faction included darraghc, meeth, and DICKTICKLER. I remember meeth and camo getting into it a lot. These guys cheated in a lot of items which was what eventually got them banned along with disrespect.
This was the year I started the CPvP arena. The first one I built was well liked and used on the server. Eventually Heyman gave me my own world to build the current arena, which is still standing (/mvtp arena). Another great build at this time was Mattland's realistic styled city.
The main faction in control at this time was Caralis. Iremember there was a lot of infighting between Camo and Dylan about the future of the faction. Camo wanted the faction to expand with Chilly's faction (Goonsquad) and others while Dylan didn't want the monopoly. Dylan and half of Caralis split off and made a faction in the nether called Faction. These two went to war for a little bit. Caralis also went to war with Bumble who I still swear to this day used cheated in gear. We had an entrance to our base with netherrack and redstone where we would set the intruders on fire.
1.8 came out later this year which meant it was time for another reset. The 1.8 server started out as a vanilla server, and it seemed to bring back the dieing server back to life. Player like Mike and others who quit for awhile came back to play. These files eventually got turned into the 1.8 server we all remember fondly which is still being used today.

2015
2015 was a new era for TFoC, as a lot of the old players left last year. I think Keys and Bumble put up ads this year which brought in a bunch of new guys. The reset itself also brought back some older players. At first I lived with Mike in his farm until I started my first faction on here called Illuminati which was the biggest at the time. MinecraftMover came back and he and I made a base which was all in god mode. Bumble eventually deleted it. Back then we were looking at who was going to build a spawn which we thought gman101360 was going to. However, it ended up being Girl/Hyperhummingbird/DementedDolphin. This one new guy joined and brought up the idea of making faction constitutions which everyone had to do. He was later banned and that requirement was dropped. I was banned this year from December to May so I missed out on what happened there.
When I came back in May, I came to find that Camo created a faction called Pylos which was a successor of Caralis, with the acquisition of Goonsquad and another faction. I think it had 20 something players at the time and everyone thought it was huge. I was in Pylos for a very short time because I didn't wanna go through a Camo faction again and the base was dreadfully ugly. I then left and started a new faction called Vaelus.
Vaelus caught up to Pylos surprisingly quick. I built the entire base myself, and it was hard to keep up with the influx of members joining. Eventually we took over the spot of the biggest faction which we've held ever since. Vaelus's goal was to be a military powerhouse while also having a nice looking base. Back then, I used to invite all the new members that joined into the faction and helped them get started. I met a lot of great people this way. The main faces in Vaelus were Me, KPMC (Kam), Chris (Phin's Cousin), Matt, Superbagel, Boltactiontoastr, Tymur, Diamondbuilder, and Nathandrak. We were in a cold war with Pylos, trying to outdo them as best as possible. This led us to mass create weapons in both vanilla and slimefun. It gave us an engineering department to constantly improve our fighter jets. And in Skype, we kept intelligence on all of our rivals and enemies. We had fun haning out in skype together, doing music calls, and dominating in faction wars.
This seemed to be the year of faction wars. Pylos and Vaelus used to do a lot of joint operations. Our first main war the Suitmafia war, in which we played a little dirty. This war caused a lot of drama a huge forum thread. It also helped give Duckey and Suitmafia the reputation they hold today. I remember Pylos and Vaelus did as Camo said, "Kicked your ass three different times and in three different places." (I still remember that quote like yesterday lmao). After awhile the relationship with Vaelus and Pylos seemed to fall apart with each faction competing for top spot and the addition of a new contender, Paraska (owned by Shoowi). This lead to the creation of the OF (Organization of Factions) where Vaelus was not allowed to participate with the other superpowers. As time went on, Camo left and Pika became the new leader. This was when Vaelus decided to go to war with Pylos and Paraska, but thing didn't get too far along until Camo and Suitmafia came back, which Camo convinced Vaelus to stop fighting them and join another joint effort against Suitmafia. Factions also competed in other events such as the Factions Wars held at the arena, and people would also PvP each other for practice.
Vaelus went to war with Paraska six times dominating each time. However, Shoowi got seekamp and seacamp to betray Vaelus and leave for Paraska. These two members created the Paraska Airforce and gave them new capabilities in the air. Vaelus, Paraska, and Pylos were involved in many wars and to this day Vaelus has never lost one. Vaelus eventually began to expand by adding more bases and taking over smaller factions such as Mangoland.
2015 was also very memorable for other players who weren't involved with factions. There were skype calls, events such as the Awards show, and other things to keep people involved. Tfoc also introduced the Donator Rank this year, which was $1. Eventually, the older players became inactive later in the year and new players seemed to stop joining. During the end of the year there was also another big Doglover fiasco which caused a lot of drama. As people left, a lot of them left for good which was the beginning of the current situation the server is in. At the end before the next reset, they held a night to blow up all of the builds.
2015 was a favorite year of TFoC for many. For me, it was one step further, it was legitimately the best year of my life. I had a new high school friend group with my most memorable friends. I used to hang out with them in the mornings since we all lifted for Football together that entire summer. I was a freshman at the time. We would do crazy shit like fireworks and cause trouble. Then in the afternoons I would play TFoC with all of my virtual friends. I really do miss these days which is the reason I keep TFoC going, because it's a relic from that time period of my life.

2016
2016 wasn't the greatest year for TFoC. I remember building a huge new Vaelus base, the biggest and best one ever built thinking the next summer was going to be the same. The relationships with my in real life friends fell apart so I was on the server a lot. For the most part, it was mostly just me, buggers, and jack. This was 1.9 and the gameplay of Minecraft changed dramatically making it much less fun. Pylos died out this year making a crappy base and never seeming to come back. Tilac came back this year but he wasn't the same guy as he was before and I used to get into fights with him all the time.
This year saw a lot of admin abuse from Jack. It wasn't okay for us to say words such as damn, but he could drop f bombs all he wanted. A few old players came back that year like Today2012. Bumble and Keys developed that server but Heyman seemed to have disappeared and hasn't been active since. Bumble eventually left a few months later doing the same thing. 2016, was pretty much a 1 man show of Keystirras trying his best to get it going again. In 2016, we had a hub server with Prison, Factions, and Towny. Towny became the main server as they voted to switch from Factions.
In late 2016, the server started to pickup again. Keys seemed to advertise to all of his Velocity buddies about this place and they all came. This brought in people like Kakashiz, Jigglebox, HeyKarma and others. Some of the older players like Chilly, Dylan, and Camo came back for a short while since we revamped Vaelus and Pylos into one faction. I remember a guy who most people really liked was Lordben and he was pretty active. Then he got banned for some reason I don't remember. And out of all people, Doglover came back for a day. At this time we had a few new factions pop up. It seemed like TFoC was back in business.
This year was also the end of Jack. Many of the older and newer players complained about him and he was demoted to Mod after working his way up to Manager. He has since left.

2017
In 2017 we hit another dead streak. The Velocity people Keys brought on where becoming inactive. Lordben got banned so the server really died out. In about March or midyear of 2017, Keys decided to kill off TFoC and start the Mystical Vortex Network. This new server still had the old tfoc.wifld.com domain still hooked up and used the old forums site with the old post hidden. Vaelus built it's last new base on this server this year. This year we had players like Vladek and DoctorRiddlez.
The server had another spike in players as new players joined and became active. Marc also got promoted to Owner. Eventually the same old thing happened and the server died out leaving Key's involvement with TFoC and it's community.
Before the Mystical Vortex network, the shutting down of TFoC came and during its last week the 1.8 server got put up. I talked to Keys about maybe letting me takeover the old server which is when I became owner. I didn't have access to TFoC's old resources such as the domain or forums website. When the 1.8 got put online for that little bit, I was browsing it out and looking over my future new server, then Jack logged on. We explored old builds together and he showed me some tricks about the SuitMafia base which I didn't know back then. That was the last time I ever saw him, after playing with him since 2013.
Kyle's Ownership
My first year of owning TFoC was pretty rocky. I was new to all of that stuff, but thankfully for me the server was already developed. I updated the server a little with a new spawn which is now /shop. I first hosted the server on a crappy ass laptop which lagged a lot. I chose Kam and Lila for my co-owners at the time. Also, we got Poke to come back. For awhile, it was Me, Lila, Kam, and Poke working to get the server ready to be released. We used my GTA community discord we had at the time to hookup the chats. I also partnered with Fab's server on IRC chat.
My first time putting up ads was quite a night. People kept joining out of nowhere and it was becoming too much for the server and staff to handle. The lag got really bad. I couldn't handle all the people myself so I had Kam and Lila come and help and we still couldn't handle it. We got over 20 players that night. Things after that fizzled down a little and made me realized our current hosting was not going to work. After running the server by ourselves for awhile, we met WillisFamily and partnered with them for awhile, but we went out separate ways since it didn't work out.
I got a cheap dedicated server off ebay for like $100. It had a core 2 quad and 8gb ram. It didn't even have a case. That's how cheap I was. After upgrading the hardware I went out and looked for partners to help spread the advertising load. I met MrFlacko who already had a new server going with a small community. We linked up together via bungeecoord. Flacko did most of the development work and he was a great developer and I ran the advertising. We had a lot of awesome new people like Miyatamo and Lenniface join the server. The community averaged around 5-20 players daily, and everything was doing well. However, the incoming TFoC server was the most popular on the network and we were kind of leaching off them for a network to put our domain on. This cause a lot of infighting. Eventually, Amcurrent, the host, of the server got into a car accident and was unable to host for awhile. This lead to a temporary down time for both servers, and we eventually went out own ways. The TFoC server remained dead until early 2018 before I found interest in hosting it again.

2018
2018 was definitely one of the better years for this server. In 2018, my GTA community died out and I had a lot more time on my hands to pursue something else. I was getting nostalgic about the time I used to spend on TFoC, but was still burnt out from last year with all the work I put into it. I told myself, if I was to do this again, I would really have to commit to it. Later, I made the decision and go all out, which I'm glad I did.
I contacted one of my old friends and partners, WillisFamily. Told him the whole deal on wanting to revamp the server and that I needed a partner. He agreed. Willis already had a server made out with a hub and everything. He was a really good developer. His server was still in progress so we worked together to get both servers up and running. I did the same old advertising routine and got back to our 5-20 players daily. This time, we had almost a completely new crowd with very little old players left.
We had some great guys come on the server. We had new big factions such as Deseret and Exiles. JkSmexy and Artemis were leaders of the biggest factions and they got lots of people to stay. Dirpy also came back that year and brought back his faction. In an effort to keep people on, we had JxSmexy and Dirpy duel each other in a faction war. Neither faction really won since it didn't continue for long, but JkSmexy was a miliary man in real life so there's a good chance he would've beat Dirpy.
This year saw an almost completely new staff team. We had Kiwi and TheSlimeyBob at the top. My higher up staff members helped me advertise the server and we ran the whole place together. We had a bunch of new people like CookedWood, Axel and Trine, Primitive, Scareletbros, Unicornal, Ender, Artemis, E3W, 58d, Sonnyboy, domesquare, aaron, Andi931, and etc. We started a premade village that players could buy premade houses that were built by builders. Every night we used to get into discord and listen to music with each other. I remember there was a wild variety of taste, but our most played songs were Sad! by xxtentacion and Ocean Man. The server was doing well with many new builds showing up left and right.
With all the new advertising, we got a bunch of hackers. They were always keeping us on the edge with their hacks. Our anti cheat at the time, and still now, wasn't that great. The reason there's a big world edit around the spawn was because one of our builders betrayed us. They were making a hub and one of my staff members, who I don't remember, was just trying to help. Apparently the help got pretty annoying so he world edit a big chunk of land without telling anyone and tried to crash the server. We fixed it as best we could. We also had to fix the spawn since some guy hacked world edit permissions and cut it out.
In 2018, there really wasn't any fighting or drama like there was in previous years. Everyone just got along. Staff weren't there for power, but to actually try and help the server. I went a little lax on the rules but we didn't have too many problems, and people that were there to cause nothing but problems were removed fast. Back then, I was also always trying to be the nice owner. I even used to build houses for people, like the big woodland mansion I built for Axel and Trine.
I showed the new people at the time how to use movecraft, and there was a renewed interest in vehicles on the server. Artemis, who owned the Deseret, and his members started experimenting and building ships. Granted these were pretty noob ships but they were learning. JkSmexy and his faction used to build ships in creative and for a fee I would copy it over for them. Andi and others used to build ships and sell them to others too.
After awhile everyone became busy with school and the server started to die down some. The server then ran out of money for a month and Willis shut his side down. I kept my server going and bought my own bungeecoord to put the domain on.

20192019 was a busy year for me since I was a senior in high school ready to graduate. I brought the server back for about 2 months during the time of this year. The server was down for a little bit but I decided I wanted it back up. We took over the old TFoC/Mystical Vortex discord which we are currently using today. This server brought a short term of renewed interest by the older players. We had people like Buggers, Keys, Dirpy, DocterRiddlez, and Diggy playing. This was the year I decided to promote Diggy as my co-owner, who still holds his spot. Our player base grew a little and we did okay until they changed the advertising rules. I got emails from several different minecraft voting sites that I was not allowed to spam my server ads. This was never an issue before. This rule change did not only affect TFoC, but we had a few competitors that used the same tactic we did. These smaller servers don't have the resources to get to the top of voting list which is why we did what we did. This rule changed killed off the server in May and its been pretty dead ever since. During that time back, it was a big nostalgia trip for some of the older players. A lot of the older players came back this time around. I remember showing Keys and Diggy all the old builds and stories. A lot of players were still amazed to find that the files were still here. We also started back up events such as drop parties. The spawn hosted a few events. Every Sunday, Melo would perform a church service in the spawn auditorium. It was a fun short, active, burst of activity. 2020After the server died off around May 2019, things have got pretty quiet. I was too busy with real life stuff to be messing around on that server and it became more of a museum server. This changed in the spring when Sonnyboy and I were going through and reminiscing over the good old days. Sonny brought his friends Ese_Flip, Ronny, and AJ on the server who really fucking sucked. Dirpy also came on around that time and brought some of his dickhead friends to. Between Sonny's and Dirpy's friends, TFoC was active again but it was a mess. There was constant disrespect to everyone. AJ and Ese_Flip were the worst. AJ griefed the player village with a nuke which outlawed nukes and got him banned. I remember giving a fighter jet to Dirpy's faction, and one of his friends started screwing around and burning all of his stuff down with it. I also built a house for Dirpy, which he built into an airship. It lags the server a lot but a flying house is still pretty cool. Eventually those people either became inactive or got banned, and the server was dead again for many months. After awhile, Blunder_Thunder joined the server and he was the only one to really play. A lot of times he was just on by himself. Sometimes Lila and I would get on and play with him. Lilabeth wanted to take over the server and become an owner. She and Kam were working on making a new TFoC server to succeed the current outdated one, but it never got finished. They both became inactive and have since then been demoted to Veteran. 2021
This year has been pretty dead so far. Earlier in the year Blunder_Thunder was still playing and Camokiller came back. Bringing back Camo kind of brought back Diggy. We all helped Blunder with his bases and Diggy, Camo, and Me took interest in airships again. We designed new ones and fought each other. Camo decided his base looked dated and started expanding and remodeling some of Pylos. Pylos and Vaelus finally finished the tunnel we started 6 years ago connecting all of our bases. It now seems like both Blunder and Camo have quit, so the server is getting pretty dead again .
Continuing Forward
So far, The Fun of Crafting has continued on it's long run. Although it is more or less a museum server, I do plan on keeping it up for many more years. This place has sentimental value to me. I appreciate all of the people who played here. I would also appreciate if any of you players could submit your memories under the thread below. If you guys ever want to talk or hang out, feel free to get ahold of me on discord. Thank you all.

hello!! I'm not sure if anybody remembers me but this server had a big impact on me as a kid. I remember first joining and creating a little world on classic. It must have been 2011-2012? I was like, 11 or 12 at the time. I remember all the different worlds we used to have! I built my way up the ranks, but I specifically remember building one of those structures where when you look at it from the side, it's just a jumble of blocks, BUT!! if you look at the shadow it said POP3464 or something. I thought I was so cool and creative! I called over Diggy to check out my very wicked build and he told me it wasn't good enough. 😭 I think like a day later I got back on, asked another moderator to come on and see my build, and they ended up promoting me for it! ...that is until I told them that Diggy didn't approve of it. They said "oh. well I shouldn't go against Diggy" and demoted me! I was very bitter, and for some reason thats a memory that stuck? 😂 -- I believe I went up in ranks and was eventually an OP or an Admin? I don't quite remember. But all of the crazy commands like /gun and /dance floor (?) Stuck with me, and I remember being so disappointed that normal minecraft didn't have those. I can vividly picture blowing up the griefing world (that world had the white house on it...right?) and having gun fights with everyone!! Eventually I built my own little griefing world. I had so much fun playing with the commands, and everytime Diggy would show me some new crazy thing I would be SOO impressed. I also,,,may have crashed the server once. I wanted my world to have more space, so I cleared out the bottom by big chunks. Unfortunately, I must have messed up a command or something, and I accidentally started filling the ENTIRE world with dirt. It got about 25% full before the server crashed. 😅 I used to have screenshots of that, but I think they're lost to time. -- I didn't have very many friends in middle school, and I also didn't have very good internet. Minecraft Classic was light enough on my internet that I could play it without any trouble, and I feel like TFoC gave me an outlet where I could be myself. I felt welcomed there, and I felt like I belonged! I really miss that feeling sometimes. When I was just a kid, it felt like it was so easy to make friends and really feel apart of a community. Sadly,, my internet couldn't handle a normal minecraft server, so I didn't get to grow with the server past the orginal TFoC. I miss classic a lot, I still think about it from time to time. It kind of feels like a blur, and I don't remember much, but what I do remember is that y'all made me happy. I think that was so incredibly vital to making me the person I am today. So, thank you guys. I'm glad to know the community is still around.

I remember I first joined this community in 2013, I'm pretty sure May 27th exactly. I joined the Awesome Craft classic server, funnily enough, with the intention of griefing, (not sure why really). I had actually been banned earlier that day on one of Heyman's other servers. But after building to rank my way up to do what I initially joined for, I noticed I actually enjoyed the server and the people on it and from then decided I just wanted to play. After a few months of playing I was made staff and from there I worked my way up to Owner on AC until classic was shut down, (Owner rank back then really didn't signify much over Manager it was really just a title imo). Due to my rank on classic, I never worked for staff on premium.
My time playing the premium server I could probably consider some of the best spent time of my life. I've made countless memories here unfortunately many with people I'll never speak to again, but that's just a part of how it goes. Most notably things like the faction wars involving my faction Irae, old Skype groups/calls, and the other games many of us played together as TFOC was never just Minecraft for me, it was a real community. While I've taken a few breaks over the years I've never been able to just leave, and so now even as the server is essentially done, I still like to join sometimes to look at the old worlds and talk to the few that are still around.
Unfortunately I've lost all old logs and screenshots, but I'd like to mention some names specifically from Awesome Craft that I remember and maybe one day they'll come across this. There are lots of names I don't remember but if I saw them I would know for sure but for the ones that I do: creeper(something?), fatima, and storm(something?), all three shared Owner with me on AC. Icila (joined the same day as me and ranked up pretty much in sync with me and was very good friend), renandjean (joined at similar time and ranked up with us as well, actually sent me an email after classic went down but I saw it too late). I'd also like to mention pop3464 that posted earlier from AC, as she was a great friend to me and one of the best staff members we ever had there. Anyway, if anyone from AC ever sees this and has things to add that'd be neat.
tl;dr - tfoc epic cool

I first joined this netowrk around 2013, It was shortly after I first bought Minecraft, the first server I joined was MegaCraft, the only server part of the network that was ran on McForge. When I first started playing the staff were very friendly. A few months after I decided to play on some other servers part of the network such as Awesome Craft, Party Craft, and David Craft. I quickly went through the staff ranks on all of the servers to the point where I was ranked Owner along with others on every server. Around the time I made owner on most of the servers is when I started to talk to mike, then I became Co-Host. The Fun of Crafting was one of the best, friendliest community’s I’ve seen on Minecraft at the time. Sure, there was a lot of drama with the staff, but it was a place where I could let all my worries fade away.
During premium back in 1.8 when that was still new, I’ve tried to experiment with the server quite a bit, tried adding a few plugins to make the server unique, not just vanilla Minecraft, some players liked the changes, a lot of players didn’t and ended up leaving. I have always had fun with our “Late Night TFoC Calls” on skype that would last hours until early hours of the morning. As people started leaving Minecraft due to their personal life, I decided to shut the server down in around 2017, around late 2017 to early 2018 I gave Kyle_Broflovski the files for the 1.8 version of the server, he said he wanted to host it as a Museum server. Since then, the server has had its up’s and down’s, but it is still fascinating to see all of the old worlds, and being able to reminisce with other OG players.
Same with Diggles, I’ve lost all my old screenshots and logs, but I want to thank all of the OG players for making my teen years bearable. If you ever want to talk about the past server(s) with me, i'm always down.

I miss this place I don't know how all you guys remember when you joined, I don't even remember what year I started playing TFOC in. I do remember that Party Craft was the first server I joined because of my sister and I got warned within 2 minutes of being on the server for griefing the ground (I was new to minecraft servers ok pls don't judge) ..Oh and I remember I set half of the guest world in party craft to water three times and got demoted by Hornet, good times. I ended up mainly playing on COR for whatever reason and I remember making it my mission to get the Owner but I didn't think I'd make it that far(Badr helped me with that heh)! I wish my memory wasn't complete trash so I could remember more but I know I had a ton of fun, this was the first community that I ever stayed with and the people here were the first friends I ever made online. Running the server was sometimes stressful but looking back on it the drama was fun now lol. For some reason one of the things I most remember is when Lila was promoted to staff and I was trying to teach her the staff commands but she kept /slapping me - for whatever reason I thought it was a good idea to show her that command first..
